Hot Chocolate in the fall

As we enter the fall season and colder weather we know here at SERVPRO of Western O'Fallon/ Wentzville that means snow storms and busted pipes.  There are a few things you can do to try and prevent that.  First of all please be sure that you disconnect your garden hose from the side of your house.  And for all you snow birds out there and vacationers.  Turn off your water supply to your house when you leave.  If you do not know where that is you will want to find that out.  You should know where your water shut off is and you should clearly mark it with a tag of some kind.  Call 314-608-8119 if you need us to bring you a tag.  this is just good knowledge to have.  if you were having any kind of water issues like a broken pipe the 1st thing you want to do is shut off the source.  I hope this was helpful.
